Tie email to Gitlab so that todos corrispond to emails and mark as read or delete at time of todo completion

Currently in Workable I have my email tied in so that when I look at things in Workable the email get's marked as read in my inbox so I don't have to check twice. It would be great if I didn't have to do double work to review stuff and I could just check them in Gitlab and/or Gmail and they would be marked bi-directionally. It would save me and others a lot of time.
