Gitlab pages: privatize a directory

Dear Gitlab Team,

I would like to publish a gitlab page in which one of its directories contains private docs/htmls. In this scenario, all the web page is public except the content of this directory.

It is possible to do that? maybe via an .htaccess file or something similar?

If this is not possible I would like to suggest this feature.
