Race condition when backing up docker registry files

I'm running the gitlab-ce:8.8.2 docker image and generate backups using gitlab-rake gitlab:backup:create.

When a docker image is pushed to registry while taking a backup it will abort:

tar: ./docker/registry/v2/blobs/sha256: file changed as we read it
Backup failed
