CI 'when: always' jobs not executed when build is interrupted by the user

I have some clean-up jobs to delete the build folder. It is marked to run always regardless if the build and the tests succeed or fails.

However, if the user interrupts the build through the GitLab build page, the clean-up job is not executed.
