Locally save uncommitted content

When adding/editing a file in the WebUI, it would be helpful if the editor did a local save of content that is uncommitted. This is similar to what we already do with comments. Is this possible?

The reason this is requested is because a customer has a lower session time (20 minutes) and they ended up losing lots of content as they were editing a file for longer than 20 minutes. They clicked commit and lost all the work.
