Need a way to disable Markdown preview
Sometimes Gitlab tries to be too smart for it's own good. I have a bunch of projects that are actually book publishing projects where the full book source is in Markdown (Pandoc flavored). This makes it very difficult to use Gitlab for things which it would normally do fine because it thinks it knows how to handle them but doesn't. For one thing it just doesn't understand all the markup. For another some of the files are too big for it to preview effectively.
One of the major things I would normally do in issue reports is link directly to the line number of the source file being discussed. This works fine for source code, but Gitlab hijacks all links to MD files and shows the preview for them. I can link to the raw versions, but then I can't deep link to a line number and the resulting interface is clumsy non-existant.
There should be a way either per project or per file to set a preference to inhibit the preview mode when viewing markdown files. At the very least a URL parameter should be obeyed to inhibit the preview and show the normal source code viewer.
