Problem to solve

The initial WAF MVC provides basic functionality but provides a minimal interface to interact with and view results. This means it is harder than necessary to meaningfully use the WAF.

Proposal

Based on learnings from the WAF MVC issue, improve the UX and interfaces for users.

Specific areas:

  1. Viewing logs from the WAF
    1. Mindful that we'll need similar workflows for other Defend categories in the near future.
    2. Metrics vs detailed listings
    3. Competitive analysis on what other companies name this and refer to it as
      1. Ideate on what to name this
    4. Where to put the screens with this information? Under Security & Compliance, Operations, somewhere else?
  2. Installation & configuration settings for the WAF (related to #8556 (closed) )
  3. (Grow this list over time)
