Make parent group milestones also available as a scope for subgroup boards.
Problem to solve
Currently, parent group milestones are only available on a project board within a subgroup. The subgroup board does not have the option to scope boards by parent group milestones. This makes it difficult for a dev team, who works on multiple projects/repositories within the same milestone, to see a comprehensive subgroup board of all issues across multiple projects scoped by the parent milestone.
Following steps highlight the missing scope options:
- Create a milestone "Sprint 1" for Parent Group
- Within Subgroup of Parent Group, add Parent milestone "Sprint 1" to a Project
- In the Subgroup, not project, open the Boards page.
- On the Subgroup Boards page, create a custom board and expand scope options. The only options available are "Any Milestone, No Milestone, Upcoming, Started." The Parent milestone "Sprint 1" is not available.
