Problem to solve

I'm looking at the document: https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/api/notification_settings.html. I feel it fails to explain about Notification Levels. What kind of notifications will we get subscribed to and not when we set to appropriate NotificationSetting.level.
What if I want to know everything going on in the a group?
Examples of my use cases:
Which NotificationSetting.level should I pick if I'm a DevOps person?
Which NotificationSetting.level should I pick if I'm a Manager of the project?
