Easily adding Epics to Issues

It would be helpful to provide an easier way to add an epic to an issue during or after it's creation.
Intended users
Users that were working on larger projects, in the case of those where an Epic was being used. This could be anyone from a project maintainer, developer, or even guests who are helping to contribute in some way to a larger scale project.
Further details
To make it easier for the user creating an issue, that is also aware of the Epic for a larger scale project, having the option to search for the correct Epic in the same way you'd search for a Milestone, Label or Assignee.
What does success look like, and how can we measure that?
Having the ability to easily add/remove the Epic to an issue. Thereby making the Epics more useful and making sure that the Epic feature is consistently used on projects.
What is the type of buyer?
Since Epics are only available in Ultimate, I suppose Ultimate.
