Publish my project to GitLab

This issue describes a feature request for publishing local git repositories into GitLab (creating new project).

Your plugin seems amazing and does all of the things I need and might want to do.

In VS Code with GitHub, I am used to being presented with a menu option, that once I have connected my VS Code to GitHub, I can just click one button and my software project is initialized and uploaded in one step to GitHub.

I have googled all over, read through your release notes in VS Code, and I can not for the life of me find this one step. What am I missing?

I have added in my GitLab API Key to VS Code, I wrongly, I guess assume I would be given a like option for GitHub and the VS Code plugin, what am I missing?
