[SPIKE] Support vscode.dev - Visual Studio Code for the Web (Preview)

Problem to solve

I'd like to use VS Code Web (https://vscode.dev) instead of the GitLab Web IDE (for my on-premise deployement for GitLab).

Proposal

This extension is not supported by https://vscode.dev/.

I don't know what is blocking, but it'd be okay to also have an on-premise deployed version of vscode.dev to support GitLab.

Further details

Chromebook in particular but in practice any use can use one of the best and most popular code editor, VS Code, without having to install anything. Works anywhere.
