Fail to sync with a private Gitlab

Hi! I'm trying to use your extension but I could not manage to make it work... We have a private gitlab "https://git.example.com", for example, but it never finds our project. I did the following:

1. Create a token;
2. Defined the instance url on vscode settings;
3. Clicked on Set Personal Token;
4. Informed the same instance url from the settings on the first step and the personal token on de second one;

Is there something else to do? Our server is only accessible with a VPN, but I'm using it.
