Cannot find merge/approve option in VS Code GitLab Workflow extension

I'm unable to find the merge or approve buttons for merge requests in the GitLab Workflow extension for VS Code, despite having the necessary permissions and proper configuration.

What is the expected correct behavior?

• Should see approve button for merge requests where I have approval permissions
• Should see merge button for MRs where I have merge permissions
