Component lifecycle diagrams

In our design system retrospective (https://gitlab.com/gl-retrospectives/ux-retrospectives/issues/11), we determined that it would be helpful to create flow diagrams that serve as a simple, visual guide to help designers, FE and other contributors better understand how they should interact with the design system in various scenarios.

As a start, @sbouchard1 and I worked on the following diagrams in order to collect feedback:
