Differing number of git hash digits between docker image names and --version output
The gitlab-runner-helper docker image tags contain the git hash of the corresponding version of gitlab-runner, as seen here: https://hub.docker.com/r/gitlab/gitlab-runner-helper/tags/
gitlab-runner --version
outputs the git revision, allowing you to find the helper image corresponding to your version of gitlab-runner
.
Unfortunately, --version outputs a 7-digit hash prefix, but the docker image tags use an 8-digit one. This can be irritating for people trying to generate docker images that extend the helper image for their installed runner.
