Test the runner HELM chart on Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)

Outcome

• The goal of the testing is to include EKS as a tested and supported turnkey cloud solution for Kubernetes.

Background

• The GitLab Runner Helm Chart docs page currently only lists Google Kubernetes Engine and Azure Container Service as solutions tested with the runner Helm chart.

• GitLab customers that self-manage runners on AWS need assurance from GitLab that hosting the runner on AWS EKS is a fully tested and supported solution.
