Gitlab Runner Upgrade from 12.8 -> 12.10 results in significant performance degradation
At the end of May, we updated our runners (and Gitlab) from 12.8 to 12.10. Since then, we have consistently seen the runners using 100% of their CPU usage whereas previously they only reached about half. We have also noticed recently that we come nowhere near to the number of jobs we used to be able to run with the same resources. (2000 jobs -> ~300 jobs). Our provisioning code hasn't changed and this performance change happened when the only change was to the runner version.
We are using docker executors to run our jobs. Our runners are on AWS t3.medium instances.
