Graphviz Windows build fails here due to memory limits, runs elsewhere
Dear Gitlab,
We would like to move our Windows build to Gitlab, but due to some unexpected limitation in the Microsoft C compiler, the compiler runs out of memory falls over when we build on a (cough) 7.5G machine, because of compiling an extraordinarily large fixed table in a C program generated by another program.
Please can you add a feature to the config file, so we can get more memory? It appears 16G would suffice.
See the discussion at https://forum.graphviz.org/t/fatal-error-c1060-compiler-is-out-of-heap-space-for-lib-edgepaint-lab-gamut-c/187/36
which also mentions this stackoverflow article mentioning the compiler issue: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/7893850/long-compile-times-in-visual-c-2010-with-large-static-arrays
Until we move to a 64 bit build (which much be inevitable in the fullness of time) please can you help us a little with this?
