Enable run-single command to write to syslog
Executing runner as a service (
run) allows you to pass
--syslog as a flag which causes it to write output to the default OS system log. The
run-single command does not support this feature. In certain environments (Windows) it's not immediately straight-forward to configure event logging in the shell.
In Linux, this is fairly trivial with output redirection or utilities such as
Add the same or similar syslog functionality as is present in multi mode.

Raised as a question from a support ticket (internal). User is in a Windows environment, making use of
run-single, and looking for a way to cause it to write to Event Viewer.
