Gitlab-runner fails to run because the repository does not exist
When you run a gitlab-runner image as follows:
docker run -d --name gitlab-runner --restart always \
--volume gitlab-runner-config:/etc/gitlab-runner \
--volume /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock \
--volume $PWD:/home/gitlab-runner \
gitlab/gitlab-runner:latest
docker exec -ti gitlab-runner bash -c 'cd /home/gitlab-runner && gitlab-runner --debug exec docker "build"'
It always fails with the error:
Cloning repository...
fatal: repository '/home/gitlab-runner' does not exist
