GitLab Pages - feature request: automatic notification of IP changes

I was wondering if there's a way to automatically get notified when the IP address for GitLab Pages is set to change? https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/gitlab_com/#gitlab-pages

I need to use an A record (CNAME conflicts with MX records)

I'm not sure if I had a GitLab account at the time the last change occurred (Aug 2018) so I'm not sure what the process is like.
