LetsEncrypt Cert didn't autorenew for Doc's archive site

I'm not sure if this is something under the team's control, but in case it is:

This morning the GitLab Documentation's archive site had an expired certificate. Browsers were showing a security warning. There was a warning message on the Pages domain page. Clicking the "retry" button in the error messages appears to have solved the problem.

My understanding is that renewal should happen automatically.
