Add Sidekiq metrics/monitoring

Customer is requesting a way to monitor Sidekiq queues. It would be nice to know when certain actions fail or the queue starts to build up.
I quickly looked at see that Sidekiq Pro has support for Statsd, but we don't use Sidekiq Pro. Can we build something in that will ship metrics somewhere?
