Markdown inline code incorrect break word in tables?
Summary
In markdown in tables inline code wraps when it should not and the code becomes unreadable. In worst case scenario an inline code block shows a single character per line.
EDIT: this happens in Chrome and Safari, in Firefox the code does not wrap and looks ok.
Steps to reproduce
Add a table with inline code in one column and text in the other, for example:
test |
Example Project
What is the current bug behavior?
Inline code breaks the word. I noticed there is a word-break: break-word
statement in css which apparently causes this. This does not happen in markdown preview.
What is the expected correct behavior?
Inline code in markdown should not break single words.

Output of checks

Possible fixes
This is what I see in my console:
I'm sure there is a reason why the word-break
statement was added, but it messes up inline code in markdown tables. And this does not happen in preview when editing. So either it should be fixed or if this is really desired behavior then it should also be added to the markdown preview.
