Command (Control) + K to open projects search

In many SaaS products, it seems to be a trend that pressing Cmd + K (on a mac) brings up a fuzzy search for projects. A good example being Slack and Active Collab.

I often press Cmd + K in Gitlab, expecting a search box to appear, or the Projects menu item to open and the textbox be selected, but to no avail.

Any chance of getting this added?
