~labels are not rendered in Wikis / Issues when followed by a period

Summary

When editing an Issue or Wiki, labels tags are not rendered whenever followed by some punctuation signs, specifically a period, like this: labels. or a Question mark labels? Other punctuation signs are ok: labels, labels+labels=labels!
