BUG: Bad email address / email confirmation prompt

User created account with an email address containing a typo
Account was not confirmed due to typo
Typo was fixed and proper email address was eventually confirmed
When user navigates to the Profile>Settings page he sees a prompt to confirm the incorrect email address, see screenshot 1 in ZD ticket
Account is noted as confirmed in admin, see screenshot 2 in ZD ticket
