Project Management calendars and Issue time tracking

In Customer Sucess and Professional Services specifically, there are some project management features that we need but are currently not in our product. Calendars and time tracking is an important feature for our team. I have made these 2 separate feature requests in one request because they are tied to each other. A 3rd party company is already doing this: https://tmetric.com/integrations/gitlab-time-tracking/ This alone should show that our customers (and like me our internal departments) need this feature.

Time Tracking: We have federal contracts that we have a legal obligation to keep track of the exact time we are spending on our contracts. I am requesting a feature parity to something that is in Jira https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/logging-time-on-issues-902499028.html I understand we have a time tracker. I would like to see it integrate into an issue calendar.

Group Calendar: In the group such as Professional Services I would like a calendar for team planning. This is tied to time tracking because issues time tracking should be tied to the calendar. This feature is an add on for Jira here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1210975/calendar-for-jira-plan-team-activities?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

So what we need is something like:

  • A group calendar that can pull in issue's calendar and group members.
  • An Issue calendar that can Project/Time manage people and sprint timelines.
  • Bonus for google calendar integration.
  • add time to an issue via calendar and hours. This should be a GUI on the webpage.
