Resend Sign Up Confirmation E-Mail

Summary

A collegue signed up when his e-mail address was not yet configured so the sign up confirmation mail was not received. is there any way to request a resend of this confirmation e-mail?

logging in or requesting a new password both do not trigger a new email sent. trying to register again fails because e-mail address is already taken.

seems that this workflow describes possible solution but only works as gitlab.com admin, right?

shouldn't a user be able to request a resend?

i'll open an issue in the supporttracker but leave this open as a potential feature request?
