rake task "create backup" fails everytime

Summary

The backup fails on gitlab:backup:uploads:create

Steps to reproduce

configs

  • I mount a folder with:
//nas-vl/blabla/GitLab       /mnt/backupGitLab       cifs    username=nounix,password='',gid=998,uid=998,dir_mode=0700

(where gid and uid "998" is for git user)

  • I set /etc/crontab like:
0 * * * * root gitlab-rake gitlab:backup:create STRATEGY=copy CRON=1 --trace >> /var/log/gitlabBackup.log 2>&1
  • My gitlab.rb config for backup:
gitlab_rails['manage_backup_path'] = true
gitlab_rails['backup_path'] = "/mnt/backupGitLab"

  • if you won't wait cron, launch rake task as root
