Checking a box in an issue description consistently throws an error on 11.8.0 RC2
Summary
In GitLab 11.8.0-rc2-ee, I'm unable to set a checkbox to checked in the description of an issue.
Steps to reproduce
- Navigate to an issue with a checkbox in the description. Click the checkbox to set it to checked/true.
- Observe the presented error banner.

Reproducing consistently for me (Chrome 71.0.3578.98) when I attempt to check a box in the description of https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ce/issues/55825.
What is the current bug behavior?
The following error is presented. The checkbox remains unchecked.
What is the expected correct behavior?
The checkbox should be checked and no error should be presented.
