    @marcia I don't think this paragraph is clear -- are we saying that within the realm of CA-issued certs, there are various levels of security in that you can have Domain Validated certificates (DV), Organization Validated certificates (OV) and Extended Validation certificates (EV)? Or are we still talking about the difference between CA-provided vs self-signed? Or all of the above?

    Also, if we're going into the topic of security at all, maybe it's worth a quick mention that the free ones are fine for a secure connection, but not for establishing trust that the site was created by a particular organization.
