Do not show (hide) groups on dashboard that user is not a member of (shared projects)

https://gitlab.com/dashboard/groups 'Your Groups' page currently shows groups the user is not a member of, e.g. GitLab employees see something like this:

I am not a 'member' of any of the groups in that screenshot. These groups are shown because they contain a project that was shared with a group that the user is a member of (in this case the GitLab.com group which I am a member of and is off the bottom of the screenshot).

This is confusing for the uninitiated user. What are these groups? Why are they showing on my 'Your Groups' dashboard? If I go to the `all-the-things' group that is listed as one of my groups I see it has just one member:

So if that group has only one member and it's not me, why is it showing in my groups?

It's because a project in that group was shared with GitLab.com group that I am a member of. I can see that project with this search: https://gitlab.com/groups/gitlab-com/-/shared?utf8=%E2%9C%93&filter=kitchen - so I can find the shared projects from the Group that I am a member of.

Please hide these 'phantom' groups from the 'Your Groups' dashboard.
