Replace commit graphs in charts
Problem to solve
The existing commit graphs in charts show:
- Average? commits per day of month
- Average? commits per weekday
- Average? commits per hour of day (UTC)
None of these graphs are particularly helpful or actionable. They're a bit interesting to see patterns of activity, but are definitely not answering any burning questions that an project maintainer/owner might have.
Proposal
- Remove the existing commit graphs.
- Replace with a new, single graph:
- Show average # of commits per committer. Show in a scrollable graph.
- Show a trendline to reflect how this is changing over time.
