Prometheus integration via Kubernetes is broken
A couple days ago, a change to the Prometheus helm chart was merged which resulted in the name of the service changing for newly deployed instances.
The name of the Prometheus service used to be prometheus-prometheus-server
, and now even when specifying the release name (like we do), it is just prometheus-server
. This is causing us to not be able to find the deployed service, and metrics fail to load:
{
"success": false,
"result": "404 - {\"kind\":\"Status\",\"apiVersion\":\"v1\",\"metadata\":{},\"status\":\"Failure\",\"message\":\"services \\\"prometheus-prometheus-server\\\" not found\",\"reason\":\"NotFound\",\"details\":{\"name\":\"prometheus-prometheus-server\",\"kind\":\"services\"},\"code\":404}\n"
}
We should fix this ASAP, especially since the Google partnership was just announced.
