Issue Board as the default view?

We LOVE the Issue Board view.

Is there a user (or project or site wide) setting to make the Board view the default?

We're on GitLab Community Edition 9.5.3 789cc678.

For the curious...

I don't recommend removing the old school List view as we still use it for browsing, digging and cherry picking but for quick status checks and 'real work' the Board view it the way to go. Guessimating that we 80% time spent in the Board view. And to be honest, I don't think we have used the Milestones feature at all. Currently, we've been tracking goals/sprints/dates/time lines on marker boards and various hard/paper and soft/online calendars.
