Member shouldn't see parent groups if he/she assigned to the subgroup
Hi,
While I was playing around the features of Gitlab CE, I have experienced something which I guess could be enhanced.
As an admin I create 3 groups: A > AB > ABC, where A is the root of AB and AB is the root of ABC.
Now I am adding a member to ABC and would expect that the assigned member will only see the subgroup ABC. But member can see the parent group names and its related statistics, e.g. number of project, team members of each parent groups. Let's assume this is a conceptual thing that has been considered to be as is. But when I as a member of the smallest subgroup ABC try to click on the parent group names, I am getting "404 : The page could not found or you don't have a permission view it.". This seems like something what is getting to be opened doesn't exist from the first glance which is not a case.
Bottom line: I would suggest to remove parent group nodes from the group tree view in order to prevent confusing.
Bests, Seymur
