Cannot import a gitlab project: Server does not allow request for unadvertised object

Summary

I am trying to import a project from private GitLab into gitlab.com and I am getting the following error:

Server does not allow request for unadvertised object aeb7f1339f4fe94a96f8fe6a13c921db858ba349

Steps to reproduce

Try to import attached project.

What is the current bug behavior?

I get the error mentioned above.

Project should be imported.
