Unable to attach file to wiki page

I am trying to edit a wiki page and attach a file. however it is not happening the progress bar is struck at 100% and keeps on animating. I tried to click save anyway but it generates a link to a file which does not exist because I receive a http page not found error if I click on the attachment. Please see attached screenshot (EDIT - unable to upload attachment).

More information: tried to upload a file containing ddsdsd with file name t.txt Tried to upload a wmv file of 4 mb Tested on Community Edition 9.4.3 b125d211 Running on centos 7 tested with web browsers: chrome, firefox, internet explorer logged in user is owner of project![gitlab_wiki_file_upload_struck_at_100_percent]
