make it possible to copy an issue to another project without closing it

We have projects where we discuss issues with individual customers. Sometimes, these issues lead to a real issue in our repository. I'm happy that we can now copy the issue over projects, but if we do this, the issue gets closed in the source project. This way, we can no longer communicate back to the customer what the status of their issue is. I therefore would like to be able to copy an issue to another project, without closing it.
