9.2: embedding SVG from CI artifacts into README stopped working
Summary
Not sure if this is a regression or expected behavior? Prior to version 9.2, SVG build artifacts could be shown in the project README via markdown:
![graph](https://gitlab.com/[user]/[project]/builds/artifacts/[branch]/file/[filename].svg?job=[jobname])
With the update to 9.2 the SVG is not shown any more as image in the README. The above URL now redirects to a page saying
The image could not be displayed because it is stored as a job artifact. You can download it instead.
It would be great to have again the possibility to show artifact SVGs in the README.
Steps to reproduce
- add a svg to a repo
- mark it as artifact in CI
- add the above link in the README
What is the current bug behavior?
The SVG is not shown in the README anymore since the update to 9.2
What is the expected correct behavior?
The SVG is shown in the README, and it was up to version 9.1.
