Automatically fork if logged in

Discussion yesterday with @singingwolfboy, @sytses and @stanhu :

Would be nice to show the Edit button on all files for all users.

If a user is logged in and clicks on the Edit button it would:

Take them to the fork page with maybe alert notice saying something like "You don't have sufficent permissions to edit this file but fork it to:"
After the forking is done takes the user to the file they wanted to edit

If a user is not logged in, clicking on the Edit button would redirect them to the sign-in page.
