Wrong author in activity log but correct one in commit

Since a picture shows more than 1,000 words.

The user who does there pushes has his Github config set to the mail adress he is registered with in Gitlab. Up until yesterday his commits showed up for the correct user (RX) then it suddenly changed.

How can I fix this error?
