Switch to GitLab's fallback image emojis

Is there a possibility to switch to GitLab emojis rather than using this big and ugly Windows 10 emojis? I've found emojis here and would really appreciate if I could use these.

Here is a screenshot of how they look in Windows 10 with Google Chrome 57 - they look misplaced and oversized:
