Issue filters with spaces between category and search term

My natural behaviour when typing a search query is to add a space after :

Unfortunately when I type the space the dropdown filter does not work. When I scroll to choose a label and click on it, it does not recognizes what I was typing, probably also because of the missing special character.

As a user I would like to be able to use the search filter without having to:

• remember all the syntax, meaning we can either allow it with or without a blank space right after the :
• using the dropdown, most of the times I know what I want to search for, I don't only find a need for them
