Explore page results sorting not working

Summary

The results sorting on the explore page is not working properly

Steps to reproduce

Go to https://gitlab.com/explore
Change the sorting filter to anything except "Last Updated"

Expected behavior

It should sort the results according to the filter

Actual behavior

It redirects to the correct URL, but doesn't sort the results, nor will it show the correct filter in the select element
