Register GitLab Flavored Markdown as a text/markdown media type variant with the IANA
Description
RFC 7763 registers the text/markdown media type. An IANA registry for Markdown variants has been created as well. The variant parameter of the text/markdown media type specifies the specific variant/flavor of the Markdown syntax, and is used to hint to the renderer what syntax should be used. GitHub flavored markdown, along with several other variants, have been registered in RFC 7764.
Proposal
Register GitLab Flavored Markdown as a variant of the text/markdown media type with the IANA.
