Can repository mirroring be incorporated into Gitlab CE?
GitLab EE has a nice feature — repository mirroring. But I think, this feature is mostly useful for individual developers, freelancers, etc (and mostly useless for enterprise clients).
Why? Because enterprise users host most of their repos on their machines, and individual developers often work with clients' repos. And for them it is useful to sync client repo with personal.
Example: I work on frontend at some project. There is a separate team working on it and we all use client's repo. I am forced to have several remotes (client's and my own) and to update them manually — very annoying and hard to track.
Yes, I could buy EE for myself — for 1 user it is cheap. But the problem is that you, as a freelancer, often add many external users to your repo: client's reporters, some of your colleagues that help you sometimes, or friends you make common projects with, so userbase can grow dramatically (in spite of that most of them login to system maybe once or twice), not great.
So the question is can be this feature migration to CE considered?
