Side-by-side diff view when activated from cookie is not full-width

1. Go to a Merge Request
2. Go to "Changes"
3. Click "Side-by-side"
4. Go to a different Merge Request
5. Go to "Changes"

"Side-by-side" is automatically selected because of the cookie preference, but is not the correct (full-screen) width.
